When in Bacolod: Enting's Special of Sagay

Bacolod's one of my favorite cities in the Philippines. It is impossible to lose weight here as almost every restaurant serves great food! And one new favorite of mine is Enting's.

Hello, Enting's Special of Sagay.

Enting's has been around for quite a while now and has a strong following too for its delectable roasted chicken and sauce.
Our gracious host J ordered for us and picked Lechon Manok (PHP220), Imbao Shell (PHP220), Sinigang na Lapu-Lapu and Grilled Blue Marlin. The last two dishes were picked from the restaurant's "wet market" area.
I love how generous Enting's was with the serving of lapu-lapu. There was more than enough for our hungry party of 5. The broth too had that nice tangy flavor that would make you want more.
You can have your shell fish cooked in various ways and our host went with baked. And it was lovely. I would have liked this more though if it had tons of garlic bits.
The grilled blue marlin was also delicious. Seasoned to perfection, you don't need any sauce to enjoy this dish. One order was also great for sharing as it was massive. I just found it too thick and tough.
The highlight of our dinner though was chicken and the crowd favorite Enting's Chicken Sauce.
I usually go for Mang Tomas whenever I eat lechon manok but this bottled concoction by Enting's is pretty good. It had that nice sour flavor that complemented the smokey taste of chicken.
You can also buy this sauce from the restaurant for just PHP120.
I'd definitely be back for more of its flavorful chicken and fresh catch!

Enting's Special of Sagay is located at Tent 2 Villa Angela Market Place, Circumferencial Road, Barangay Villamonte, Bacolod City.
