Heinz Goes Asian at Tong Yang Plus

Sauces may be considered as an add-on but it plays an important part in making a meal extra scrumptious. And when I heard that the world famous ketchup brand Heinz also carries a wide range of Asian sauces, the foodie in me got very excited. The launch too was just perfect as it was held Tong Yang Plus which had bountiful meats and seafood. The spread definitely helped us better appreciate these amazing pantry staples.

Hello, Heinz Asian Sauces x Tong Yang Plus.

We Filipinos like to pair our favorite dishes with sauces and this line of Asian sauces from Heinz will surely make our kitchens and meals more festive.

From soy sauce to oyster sauce, to the crowd favorite sweet chili and garlic chilli, each one is formulated to enhance one's dining experience.
I usually go for sesame oil dashed with salt and pepper for my grilled meat. It's also great with noodles.
But garlic chilli was a new favorite! I loved that it was not overly spicy and packed with garlicky flavor perfect for barbecue!
Sweet Chili is also a nice alternative. But I still prefer it with the classic Lumpiang Shanghai.
The wide range of seafood at Tong Yang put Heinz soy sauce and premium light soy sauce in the spotlight. The lighter option is great for those who can't have too much salt but want that extra flavor.
I'm not into cooking meats at all but I thoroughly enjoyed my first Tong Yang Plus visit.
The massive selection of meats and hot pot ingredients makes this place bang for the buck! Sure, it may be a bit more expensive than your typical Korean BBQ place but you get so much more for a few more hundred Pesos.
Tong Yang also has the popular beef and pork belly and marinated versions as well.
There are also several kinds of seafood!
And go hot pot crazy with Tong Yang's ample selection. I heard that they don't display cheese balls but you can request for some.

There are also several hot pot broths to choose from!
Feeling lazy? There are also available cooked dishes. I wasn't able to try any though as I wanted to feast on grilled meats.
You'll also never get thirsty here with Tong Yang's refreshing beverages.
And make sure to save room for dessert!
I was so busy trying Heinz Asian sauces that I wasn't able to try the ones from Tong Yang's. But I might play it safe and bring a bottle of sesame oil, garlic chilli and premium light soy sauce on my next visit.

Tong Yang Plus has several branches in Metro Manila.
