Hello, Café Eight.
Located at the 8th floor of Crimson Hotel, one would quickly understand why this place is named so.
Since I came in around 2 p.m., some of the dishes were already half empty.
R went straight to the grill station and had mussels, crab and salmon cooked for us.
I grabbed some sushi rolls and salmon sashimi while waiting for someone to serve us churrasco. (Each table will get a coaster to signal the staff if you want some meats.)
With its mouthwatering churrasco selection of beef sirloin, pork loin, chicken thigh, pork liver, lamb leg and Brazilian pork sausage, this station alone can keep you full, satisfied and feel that you got your money's worth.
The meats were already cold when we got our cuts so we had it heated at the grill station. And it sure makes a huge difference!
The meat became succulent again and each bite was pure bliss. It is best to enjoy these with salt and chimichurri. The flavorful green sauce made with garlic, oil and herbs sure balance the smokiness of the meats. My favorites would be beef and lamb.
Don't forget to grab some of Café Eight's delicious desserts before ending your meal. Its leche flan is amazing! The velvety smooth texture and custard flavor is spot on. I wish I could bring home a tray or two of this. There's also an ice cream stand near the churrasco station.
Note that the Churrasco-style buffet at Café Eight is only available lunch time on Sundays priced at PHP2,100 net inclusive of free-flowing beer, sparkling wine and juices.
We got orange and cranberry juice.
Also make sure to check out the other stations for interesting finds.
Café Eight is located at 8th Floor, Crimson Hotel Filinvest City, Muntinlupa.
