Second Bite: Elait!

This is probably the hottest year to date, literally. Even though Jose Mari Chan's Christmas songs are already all over the city (and internet), the intense summer heat still lingers. Thank goodness though for ice cream

Hello, Elait!
I've shared before how much I love this brand. Though still small compared to other establishments, this is one of the brands that has the biggest heart. It proved that you don't have to be big to have CSR. All you need is to have the passion for it.

Now with a new branch at Ayala Malls the 30th, Elait is out with new premium flavors (PHP200/cup) to delight the market.
I still remember not being too adventurous during my first visit. I went with the tried and tested flavors. I didn't even bother to look at the different toppings and mixes. But it seems that they added a lot including my favorite, dragon fruit!
I decided to create my own and went with yogurt as base, dragon fruit and kiwi as mixers, strawberries and kiwi for toppings and raspberry for drizzle.
Just like Overdoughs, it took time for my order to be ready. If without a queue, it would take about 3 to 5 minutes. But the place was packed with guests so I had to wait for about 15 to 20 minutes. I was not in a hurry though so it was fine. And it was definitely worth the wait!
My face lit up with glee when the server handed my cup of happiness. It was beautiful!

And more than beautiful, it was scrumptious! I loved that it was tangy with a bit of sweet taste from the drizzle. The fruit toppings were great too!

For PHP180, it was definitely worth it!

Elait is located at 3rd Floor, Ayala Malls the 30th, Meralco Avenue, Pasig City.
