Hello, Flower Boy.
Flower Boy is one of the first stalls you'll see if you circle The Grid clockwise. Located at stall #2, this kiosk specializes in Thai local fare and one of its signature dishes is its Pad Thai.
We got one order of Pad Thai (PHP290, chicken | PHP450, shrimp) and wanted to grab a plate of Pork Chop too. Unfortunately, the latter was not available when we dropped by.
Service was quite quick for dinner time and we got our generous serving of pad thai in under 20 minutes.
The filling bright colored plate of noodles topped with fried egg with nuts, garlic chives, beansprouts and lime wedge on the side was bang for the buck at PHP290 for chicken. (I'm not so sure if I could say the same for shrimp as PHP450 might be a bit too pricey for pad thai.)
I love the harmonious blend of sweet, savory and nutty flavors! Biting into bean sprouts add a refreshing kick to it which made it extra addictive. Don't forget to squeeze the lime for that hint of zest which further balances the flavors.
I do hope though that they offer snack size for pad thai so that I get to save more room for other dishes at The Grid.
