New Bites: Krispy Kreme's Halloween-Themed Doughnuts and Frozen Kreme Shakes

Halloween is one of the most celebrated events of the year. With kids and adults donning their favorite costumes and joining the merriment with sweet treats on hand, it isn't hard to love this day of the year. And to make things even more interesting, Krispy Kreme launched not just a couple of Halloween-themed doughnuts but nine creepily adorable ones!

Hello, Krispy Kreme!
Celebrating spooks fest with these adorable limited edition Halloween-themed doughnuts is one of the best ways to make one's party fun.
This year's spooky yet cute squad includes The Scary Eye, The Black Cat, The Tombstone, The Bat, The Pumpkin, The Brain, The Orange Monster, The Owl, The Ooze and Halloween Sprinkles.
My favorites would be Halloween Sprinkles as it's everyone's favorite Original Glazed topped with thin layer of chocolate and sprinkles. My second favorite would be The Brain stuffed with strawberry filling.
All Halloween-themed doughnuts cost PHP55 per piece and PHP 450 per dozen.
Another new item worth checking out at Krispy Kreme is its Frozen Kreme Shakes. Inspired by Krispy Kreme classics and favorites, its Frozen Glazed Chocolate, Frozen Strawberry Sprinkles and Frozen Vanilla Cake will surely please anyone's taste buds.

All are topped with edible gold or red glitters making this drink a little more extra than your usual milkshake.
Frozen Glazed Chocolate is perfect for serious chocoholics as its sweet taste will make you smile from ear to ear. Topped with chocolate pieces, it also has that nice crunch to contrast the smooth milkshake.
Frozen Strawberry Sprinkles is screaming adorable with its heart-shaped sprinkles. And its fruity taste makes it addicting and refreshing.
But the old-fashioned foodie in me liked Vanilla Cake best as it was teh least sweet among the three.

These shakes are available at select Krispy Kreme branches: Glorietta 4, SM San Lazaro, Shell Mamplasan, Gateway Mall, Trinoma, Evia Lifestyle Center, Alabang Town Center, Bonifacio High Street, Eastwood, Mall of Asia, and Paseo de Magallanes for PHP225.

I can't wait to get my hands on more Vanilla Cake!
