Have You Tried Cara Mia's Gelato Sandwiches?

Cara Mia has been one of my go to brands for desserts. Its superb Mango Cream Pie, Ube Cake and Strawberry Shortcake are just a few of the desserts I'm in love with. And last October, Cara Mia launched a new treat that would make everyone hooked for more. Anyone up for Gelato Sandwiches?

Hello, Cara Mia's Gelato Sandwiches.
Cara Mia is like a dessert fairy godmother with all the wonderful sweets it made for us to indulge in. And when this sweet tooth haven released its gelato sandwiches, I was beyond thrilled.
Available in Pistachio, Ferrero and Mango Cream Pie, each gelato sandwich (PHP150/piece) is a beautiful combination of sans rival wafer and gelato.
The brilliant idea of using meringue cookies instead of the usual chocolate chip cookie gave this treat an addictive crunch. With the glorious gelato and chopped nuts or pie crumbs also in the picture, we have here a dessert worth every penny.
I first tried Ferrero which is one of my favorite chocolate brands. And kudos to Cara Mia for perfectly turning it into a gelato sandwich! The nutty flavor and crunchy texture were spot on! It may be a bit messy to eat though given that the dark chocolate coating bits and chopped almonds tend to fall after one bite. So have your tissue ready!
Pistachio lovers would enjoy this premium nut gelato sandwich. The creamy pistachio gelato sandwiched with meringue wrapped in pistachio bits then enveloped with white chocolate was a lovely balanced dessert. It wasn't overly sweet and one could easily finish a serving.
But the best one for me was Mango Cream Pie. Dipped in white chocolate and rolled in pie crumbs, this dessert quickly transported me back to summer of the 90s. Think of frozen mango float but a hundred times better!
These gelato sandwiches are definitely great alternatives to your usual gelato and cake. Grab yours now!

Cara Mia has multiple branches in Metro Manila.
