With wide variety of food and cuisine to choose from, it's so hard to stick on a diet or even eat healthy. I salute those who tirelessly eat clean and organic. I tried and failed (miserably) several times. As someone who loves every single sinful dish, I don't know how these organic restaurants charm me. It could be the great reviews I've been reading or its quirky interiors. This time around, I gave Satinka Naturals a try.
Hello, Satinka Naturals.
I've heard of this place a few years back when a former colleague of mine couldn't stop raving about it. She wasn't exactly a healthy eater so her raving about this place intrigued me.

First Bite: Pompoms
I can never resist French fries. As much as I would love to lessen my carb intake, I could never find myself saying no to some of these crisp and heavenly goodness. And when I spotted Pompoms, a casual restaurant that serves twice-fried, thick-cut French fries, I giddily skipped my way towards its cute shop.
Hello, Pompoms.
Located at the Ground Floor of Robinsons Place Manila, one could easily spot this fries haven if you frequent Pedro Gil wing.

When in Davao: Seda Abreeza Davao
I've been visiting Davao a bit too frequent lately that it's becoming a bit too familiar. We eat at the same places and stay at the same area. But this time around, R and I tried to up it a bit in time for our anniversary and decided to stay at Seda Abreeza Davao.
Hello, Seda Abreeza Davao.
We left for Davao early and had a long day so we were really looking forward to a rewarding stay at Seda.

It's Back: Mesa Rockwell is Now Open
Complex flavors and different influences make Filipino cuisine very interesting. There are several restaurants that offer great Filipino dishes and one of the best ones in town for me is Mesa Filipino Moderne.
Hello, Mesa Filipino Moderne.
The well-loved Filipino restaurant, Mesa, is back in Power Plant Mall!

F1 Hotel Manila is popularly known as the very first hotel to open in Bonifacio Global City. With its modern interiors and accessible location, it has been one of the top of mind hotels for travelers and locals alike. But aside from its comfortable beds and spacious rooms, F1 Hotel has established itself as a destination of choice for food enthusiasts with its mouthwatering buffet spread and dishes. It also holds an annual food festival Luzviminda to celebrate local flavors around the country. And this year marks its 6th installment.

Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf Celebrates 15 Years in the Philippines
2018 is a special year for Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf as it marks yet another milestone for its Philippine franchise. This year marks the well-loved coffee shop's 15th year in the country. And there's no better way to celebrate this momentous moment than with coffee and tea.
Happy Anniversary, Coffee Bean & Tea.
The event started with some interactive activities such as visiting some booths where we learn more about Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf (CBTL) and some where we had to do a flatlay using CBTL products. I have to admit, the crossword puzzle was a tough one if solved without the materials available for us that day.

First Bite: Little Flour
It has been several months since Wildflour's new concept Little Flour opened. I've been planning to visit and check out how different it is from the well-loved brunch place but my schedule never cooperated for a short brunch. Luckily, R's friends decided to have dinner there one time to welcome back two balikbayan friends. And it was my chance to sink my teeth into its famous young coconut pie.
Hello, Little Flour.
Little Flour has similar ambiance as Wildflour with its predominantly brown interiors and pastry display.

Now in Podium: Wolfgang's Steakhouse
Steak has always been part of the menu whenever R and I are celebrating something special. I still remember when he made steak for me on Valentine's Day and when I did the same for our anniversary this year. There are times though when we're not in the mood to create a yummy mess in the kitchen and eat out instead. It's a good thing that there are a lot of options to choose from these days and the good ones are branching out. One steakhouse that made itself closer to home is Wolfgang's Steakhouse.

Langhap Sarap: Jollibee Yum Burger
The local food scene is crazy! One could easily get overwhelmed with the new concepts opening here and there as well as countless restaurants offering twists to classic favorites. But there are times when you just want those tried and tested comfort food on a lazy day. And one of my guilty pleasures is heading to Jollibee for some no frills burgers.

Revisited: Sebastian's Ice Cream
A meal is never complete without desserts. I'd always look for something sweet to cap my meal and one of my go to desserts is ice cream. And I was giddy to stumble upon Sebastian's after my hearty meal at Kureji.
Hello, Sebastian's Ice Cream.
Sebastian's Ice Cream has been around for quite some time now. I still remember how it reinvented classic Pinoy treats such as Sapin-Sapin and Green Mango into ice cream. Not only did it catch attention from foodies around the metro, it also delivered superb and great tasting products.

First Bite: Kureji
The summer heat this year is insane! I don't recall Manila hitting 40 degrees Celsius before. But it would never be too hot for ramen. And there's a ramen shop that adds sizzle to ramen.
Hello, Kureji.
Kureji is the newest concept of Baby Spice Group, the company behind Cucina Peruvia. This time around, they decided to put a little bit of twist to some all time Japanese favorites.
