Sweet Find: Larcy’s Cupcakery Café

I am used to having complete meals every time I eat out. Even when I’m alone, I make sure that I order an appetizer, main course and dessert. I love it when I hang out with people who feel the same way and this is probably why I adore my college friends.

After a happy lunch at Burgers & Brewskies, my friends and I decided to “hunt” for dessert. We were craving for something new or cold; and at first, I was sold with the idea of having dessert at Caramia.
But since funds were running low, I had to look for an ATM and that’s when I saw… Larcy’s.
Hello, Larcy’s Cupcakery Café!
The cute and very pink cupcake place is located at the lower ground of Capitol Common’s new mall, Estancia. Since it falls under “new”, my friends and I decided to settle here.

They have several cupcakes and drinks to choose from. But we went with just cupcakes such as Quezo de Bola (PHP90), Bananutella (PHP75), Chocolate Salted Caramel (PHP85), and Old Fashioned (PHP70). I also ordered a mug of Frozen Hot Choco Velvet (PHP185).
Each cupcake is served in a quaint cupcake serving plate and it screams ADORABLE. And after a few pictures here and there, we began to attack the cupcakes.
The Bananutella was delightful. The icing wasn’t sweet at all (it tasted like mocha) and the cupcake was moist and soft. It was like eating banana bread with icing.
I loved the Quezo de Bola as it had a sweet yet tangy taste from the cheese. The cheese shavings also added texture to the cupcake.
It was messy to eat the Chocolate Salted Caramel as the caramel was quite hard and very stretchy. It was pretty good though. And, just like the other two, it was moist.
I thought that Old Fashioned would be too sweet with the shiny chocolate icing on top but I was pleasantly surprised that it wasn’t. This one is a safe choice if you’re not too much into cupcakes. It’s pretty romantic too with the heart on top.
The mug I’m holding in the picture is the Frozen Hot Choco Velvet
I totally forgot to take a picture of my drink as I was excited to let my friends take a sip. But it was probably one of the best drinks I have ever… sipped! It wasn’t that sweet and the slight rough texture made it more divine!  I will definitely order this again (and again and again).
Larcy’s Cupcakery Café is located at Lower Ground, Estancia Mall, Capitol Commons, Oranbo, Pasig City.
