Hello, L'Shef.
L'Shef is a play of words between chef and Shela, the lady behind this socially responsible shop. It currently offers a short list of homemade products, all of which were made or cooked by Shela.
I managed to get a bottle of its Gourmet Tuyo (PHP190) and Kimchi (PHP125) last week which I decided to have for lunch.
Since I don't eat kimchi by itself, I turned it into kimchi fried rice by adding some greens, mushroom and egg. I was pretty surprised that it actually went well with the gourmet tuyo.
I found the spicy tuyo to be a tad salty so best to have this with rice, pasta or crackers.
Or for that extra spice, pair it with kimchi fried rice. The crunch from kimchi also made this pair extra good, not to mention addictive!
Other available products are Cheesy Garlic Baked Mussels (PHP580), Cheesecake in a Jar (PHP80), California Maki Rolls (PHP260), Buffalo Wings (PHP550), Teriyaki Wings (PHP550), Baked Cheesecake (PHP570) and Bagoong Rice (PHP550).
These products are awesome gift ideas too! Plus you get to support a local business and our hardworking fishermen to boot!
