Second Bite: Early Bird Breakfast Club

I love breakfast food. Sunnyside up eggs, waffles, bacon, toasts… aaaah~<3 This is why I enjoy visiting breakfast all day restaurants.

It has been quite a long while since I last visited this place. I recall my former colleague T was still new with Summit   Media when we visited this quaint restaurant. Early Bird stays the same, charming and homey.
This time around, I tried one of its newest dishes, Cod and Salmon Breakfast Pie (PHP325) with a glass of iced tea (PHP95).
It took a bit over 20 minutes before my food was served.

The dish was piping hot! The hot plate sure kept the dish more than warm throughout lunch.
It was a very filling dish as the bits of salmon and cod in béchamel sauce were drowning in mashed potatoes. The crusty golden brown top added texture to the soft mushy pie.

I enjoyed it even more when I sprinkled it with lemon juice.

I’ll definitely order this again next time but I’ll share it with someone as it was really heavy for just one person.

Early Bird Breakfast Club is located at  Ground Floor, Fort Pointe 2 Building, The Fort Complex, 28th Street, Bonifacio Global City, Taguig City.
