Restaurant Discovery: Marmalade Kitchen

It has been a while since I last visited Marmalade Kitchen. The last time I went was August of last year and I just had a cup of coffee and caramel custard tart (because I was still full from my dinner at Tipple and Slaw). This time around, I visited famished and was ready to eat.

Hello again, Marmalade Kitchen.
When I arrived, it seemed as if I reserved the whole place for myself as the restaurant was empty. It actually made me feel a bit lonely. But I didn’t have the time to feel sad as I was really hungry.
This time, I ordered a bowl of Spinach Cappuccino (PHP180) and Smoked Salmon and Caviar Eggs Benedict (PHP290).

It took them quite a bit to prepare my meal as the chef was out on a break and was only able to prepare my meal after 7 minutes had passed.
Anyway, after about 15 to 20 minutes, my soup was served.

It was served really hot and I burnt my tongue because I was in a hurry. :(

The spinach soup was quite salty but delicious. I loved the creamy foam on top which reminded me of cappuccino.
Since I had to leave in 10 minutes, I asked the server to pack my Eggs Benedict instead.
It looked a bit sad in the plastic microwave safe container. But the sliced tomatoes were too tempting that I ate one before leaving the restaurant.

To be honest, I wasn’t too happy with it because (1) there were only few salmon slices on the bread and (2) it was quite salty. I think the fact that I ate it after 15 minutes was also a factor why I didn’t enjoy it that much.  *sigh*

I’ll still go here though for a quick coffee and dessert break. I enjoyed the caramel custard tart last time.

Marmalade Kitchen is located at Unit 2-5 Forum South Global corner Federacion Drive and 7th Avenue, Bonifacio Global City, Taguig City

  1. Last week, I got the chance to visit Marmalade Kitchen with friends and we never regretted that we stop and order their menu. The first thing that I like on Marmalade Kitchen is the ambiance and the great selection of restaurant furniture. I was so hungry that time because I've done so many errands the whole day and decided to meet my friends at Fort, and so I ordered Chicken Gambas and Egg and tried their Classic Eggs Benedict. For dessert, I just ordered their Magic with ice ream on top. I have a happy tummy because of the delicious food as well as a quality time and a good chat to my girlfriends.
