Good Mood Food: Arby's

Don’t you just hate it when you realize that you only have a few vacation-galore days left and that you still have a lot of things to do, explore, and most especially, eat? It happened to me during my 3 week vacation, 4 days before flying back to Manila.
ACK! That was the only word, uh, sound, that came out of my mouth when I realized that I still have a lot of places to check and food to eat. There was still IHOP, Arby’s, Denny’s, and so much more!!!
I just have to cross at least half of it off my list. I JUST HAVE TO. Thus, with much begging comes great appetite. After eating dinner at Five Guys, we passed by Arby’s so that I could finally try their famous Angus beef sandwiches.
I was still pretty full that night but since my time in Florida was getting shorter and shorter, I ignored my bloated tummy and ordered perhaps one of their most humble meals… a value meal (burger, curly fries, and a drink of my choice).
I was dumbfounded with the several sauce and dressing options. I was clueless on which one to try as I was scared of messing up my sandwich. I asked our family friend for suggestions and she told me to eat it as is for me to appreciate the taste of the meat. I thought that it was such a “dry” idea but I followed her suggestion.
True enough, the burger was pretty much good without anything on it. The soft and juicy thin slices of roast beef were enough to make this burger good. I still can’t help wonder though what the taste would be like if I tried putting mustard or whatnot.

What was even more amazing was that it still tasted great the following day (yes, I wasn’t able to finish it as I was extremely full already that day when I bought the burger).
The curly fries tasted quite similar to our good ol’ McDonalds Twister fries only it was a bit crunchier and had more spice.
I just hoped that I had more space in my tummy when I visited Arby’s so that I was able to try two kinds.

Definitely a Good Mood Food.
