First Bite: Eatogether Food Hall's Jeepney Avenue

Filipino cuisine will always have a special place in my heart (and tummy). Its comforting flavors never fail to make me feel at home or remember the good ol' days with the family. And I was giddy to spot Jeepney Avenue at Eatogether.

Hello, Jeepney Avenue.

Jeepney Avenue is one of the first stalls you'll see when you enter Eatogether. Situated right beside the counter to get your Vikings Card, its mouthwatering display of crispy pata will get your attention.

I got to try the party staple during the media preview of Eatogether and it was an instant favorite. The pork was beautifully cooked. 

Crunchy and flavorful in every bite, you don't even need sauce for it. Though best to have some rice close by as it's best paired with carbs. And a pint or two of beer. 

Oh yes, Eatogether also offers beer, cocktails and sake making this place perfect for lunch and dinner!

If you are feeling a bit under the weather, grab one of its lugaw bowls, available with hard boiled egg or century egg. We got the latter. Served with a bit of roasted pork belly, fish ball and liver, this meal is hearty and quite filling.

I have yet to try Jeepney Avenue's other dishes but do grab a plate of Crispy Pata if dining here with family or friends! Make sure to have rice too!
