Now in BGC: Lumiere Skin and Spa

They say that aging start at the age of 25 and I believe it wholeheartedly. I have been religiously using sun screen to protect my face but it seems that it's far from being enough. As much as I would like to have regular facial to combat fine lines and spots, I find it time consuming and that I couldn't squeeze it in my busy schedule. But Lumiere Skin and Spa made me think otherwise.

Hello, Lumiere Skin and Spa.
It wasn't hard to find this new skin care clinic in Uptown Parade. Just look for the well-lit space with a big L sign. It is most visible from the bridge way between Uptown Mall and Uptown Parade.

I was warmly greeted by a spacious skin clinic adorned with green accents giving it a garden-like vibe.
After a quick store blessing and welcome remarks from the owners, we were introduced to FOTONA 4D Lifting Laser. This is the pioneer in the field that lases inside the oral cavity to lessen laugh lines. Aside from lifting, this laser system also offers brightening, tightening and total skin resurfacing, all in one treatment!

And speaking of treatment, one of the goals of Lumiere Skin and Spa is to provide skin solutions that do not entail too many sessions that will only leave one's pocket empty. Instead, it commits to provide its clients a skincare lifestyle. By offering more affordable treatments and longer lasting effects, it allows clients to become skin enthusiasts.
I was lucky to be one of the first clients to try the services of its Uptown Parade branch. After getting my skin analysis and finding out my skin's age (which was not as bad as I thought), Lumiere Hydra Facial with Wet Diamond Peel and Vitamin Infusion (PHP2,599) was recommended to me.
Lumiere can only accommodate around 8 to 10 so I had to wait for an hour before I was assisted. I didn't mind though as I had some quick errands to do.
I got back earlier than expected and after a couple of minutes, I was ushered to the second floor where skin treatments are done (first floor is reserved for massages). I had to wear a gown in preparation of a lovely shoulder massage.
I started with a nice face cleanse which was followed by a fragrant massage and steam to open up the pores.

The painful pricking soon followed. Thankfully, the person who assisted me was gentle and made the extraction more bearable.

As I got more comfortable, I had to move to the last room as it's the only one that has the machine that does wet diamond peel and vitamin infusion.
I didn't really mind the move as it was just a few steps away but I couldn't help feel itchy during the peeling and vitamin infusion. It took about an hour before the itch disappeared and I noticed that my skin became tighter but also drier. I guess that's the effect of the diamond peel.

What made me feel that I was in good hands was the sincere concern of the staff and Mr. Mike Chan himself when they found out that I was experiencing discomfort. I was even told that I could drop by the following day if the itchiness didn't subside. Luckily, I didn't have to.
Will I drop by again for another treatment? With its affordable services and friendly staff, definitely.

Lumiere Skin and Spa is located at 2nd Floor, Uptown Parade, 9th Avenue, Fort Bonifacio, Taguig City.
