Food Delivery Favorite: Pizza X

I love brands that make their customers feel like master chefs! As a novice in the kitchen, I was so happy when several establishments came up with easy do-it-yourself dishes. I've tried a handful, and everything turned out great! And with my insatiable appetite for pizza, I was thrilled when I received a sampler pizza pack from Pizza X.

Hello, Pizza X.

Pizza X is one of the newest food concepts in town. It offers frozen thin-crust pizzas in solo sizes. 

It currently has six flavors -- Xtra Cheezy, Tropical Xplosion, Angus Xtreme, Pesto Xcellency, Pepperoni Xtacy, and Mexican Fix. A 6-piece sampler costs PHP449; a 12-pack one is at PHP888. You may also opt for the 6 Combo Pizza (PHP449) where you can choose 3 combinations of flavors. (For the 12-piece family pack, you can pick any of the six variants.)

I decided to try all flavors last week and baked half of each variant. 

I love that the pack comes with easy to follow instructions. All I had to do was to thaw the frozen pizzas for 1-2 minutes, preheat the oven at 240°C then bake the pizzas at 220°C for about 8 to 10 minutes. I had mine sit in the oven for ten. 

I messed up the first half as I accidentally placed the tray too high and close to the source of heat.

You can also use a toaster if you don't have an oven. Just preheat the toaster for five minutes and pop the pizzas in for 10 to 15 minutes. 

I wasn't expecting much from the pizzas though I did notice the generous toppings on each solo pie. 

Tropical X is your level-up Hawaiian pizza with a generous serving of double-smoked bacon, pineapple, onion, and bell pepper. It had that addictive sweet and savory taste that would make you wish you have two of this.

Angus Xtreme is perfect for meat lovers. The beefy taste of Angus beef was evident in every bite. 

If you want something a bit lighter, Pesto Xcellency is your best bet. Topped with basil and malunggay pesto, white sauce, cream cheese, and Parmesan, each bite had this light nutty and creamy taste. Add a bit of chili pepper if you want a dash of heat. 

Another flavor I loved was Xtra Cheezy. I loved the bold cheese taste made possible by the perfect blend of mozzarella, cheddar, Parmesan, and cream cheese. The slightly tangy and salty flavor was spot on and would tickle every cheese lover's taste buds.

If you want to play it safe, there's always the reliable Pepperoni Xplosion. 

But my top pick would be Mexican Fix. It was my first time to indulge in a pizza topped with Chili con Carne, and it was one of the best pizzas I've had. I loved the grainy texture of the beans and each mouthful being saucy.
