Soru Now Offers Unlimited Hot Pot

Soru has been synonymous with beautifully plated sushi and maki rolls. Its intricate and colorful designs are just as anticipated as its dishes. But Soru has a lot more up its sleeves when it launched its hot pot menu.

Hello, Soru.
Soru recently opened a branch in Timog and it is a lot bigger compared to its other stores. It has a lot more parking space and even has an area dedicated to its new concept--hot pot.

Heinz Goes Asian at Tong Yang Plus

Sauces may be considered as an add-on but it plays an important part in making a meal extra scrumptious. And when I heard that the world famous ketchup brand Heinz also carries a wide range of Asian sauces, the foodie in me got very excited. The launch too was just perfect as it was held Tong Yang Plus which had bountiful meats and seafood. The spread definitely helped us better appreciate these amazing pantry staples.

Hello, Heinz Asian Sauces x Tong Yang Plus.

We Filipinos like to pair our favorite dishes with sauces and this line of Asian sauces from Heinz will surely make our kitchens and meals more festive.

Unlimited or unli is a very appealing word that makes Pinoys forget their 2020 resolutions. After all, how can one resist a bottomless feast for under PHP500? And if you're tired of Korean BBQ, I discovered a restaurant that offers unlimited meats without having to grill or smell like smoke afterwards.

Hello, Holy Cow Sizzlers.

Holy Cow Sizzlers recently launched a mouthwatering Meat All You Can promo for just PHP399 which includes five kinds of meat and 10 side dishes.

Restaurant Love: Sibyullee

The boom of Korean BBQ joints in the Metro made deciding on where to grab your unli meat fix a daunting task. I've seen several restaurants offering tempting prices but I couldn't help but think of the quality of meat they serve to at least break even. But one establishment proved that you can have a quality meat feast without breaking the piggy bank.

Hello, Sibyullee
Sibyullee has been known for its scrumptious cheese platters when it opened a few years back. It was a hip place that offers great tasting casual Korean dishes and it easily gained following and patrons. And many were thrilled when it rebranded as an unli Korean BBQ joint.

First Bite: Wagyupsal

We can't deny that Korean culture and cuisine have seamlessly assimilated with ours these past years. With more and more of us loving Korean shows, music and food, it's not surprising to see pockets of Korea Town in almost every city. And just when we thought we've had too much of Korean BBQ, the newest joint in town serves wagyu

Hello, Wagyupsal.
Wagyupsal opened a few months ago in the foodie haven Kapitolyo.

Must Try: Samba's Sabado de Fiesta

Weekends are made for lazing around the house and recharging for another battle with reality come Monday. However, there are times when I find myself excited to wake up early on a Saturday despite a grueling Friday because good food awaits! And such is the case a few Saturdays ago.

Hello, Samba!
Samba is one of my favorite Peruvian restaurants. As one of the few establishments that offer top notch fresh ceviche and to die for Arroz con Mariscos, I found myself visiting this place quite a number of times.

Night Life: Unlimited Tacos with Unlimited Sangria or Margarita at Encima

Restaurants that offer Do-It-Yourself dishes are brilliant. Guests find it attractive, interactive and never blame the restaurant if it tasted bad as they made it themselves. But there are some places where no matter how bad you messed up, your creation will still be delicious! And such is the case with Encima's DIY Taco Bar.

Hello again, Encima Roofdeck Restaurant.
To celebrate the Encima's anniversary, they threw a simple and intimate thanksgiving party which also served as the launch of their DIY Taco Bar, Unlimited Margarita or Sangria promo for just PHP499.

Go Wagyu Crazy at Edsa Shangri-La's Mad for Wagyu at Heat

I always consider indulging in wagyu a treat. Aside from its unbelievably tender texture, it’s the sort of meat you can’t enjoy on a daily basis because of its not so affordable price tag. This is why my heart pounds so fast whenever I hear (or read) the three sweet words “unlimited wagyu promo.” And it definitely skipped a beat or two when I found out that Edsa Shangri-La’s well-loved buffet HEAT is celebrating foodies’ love for wagyu with Mad for Wagyu.

Hello, Heat!

It’d be hard to miss the Mad for Wagyu sign when you enter Heat as the first thing you’ll see is this roulette that diners could spin for a minimum single receipt worth PHP5,000. But let’s save the spinning story for later and focus more on the scrumptious spread.

Love at First Bite: Urameshi-Ya

It has been months since I saw J's Urameshi-Ya Instagram post and I can't help dream about unlimited wagyu, oysters and scallops. The best part is that it only costs PHP500 (plus service charge). Thankfully, some loolooers were game to brave the Makati weekday traffic to visit the Little Tokyo's not so hidden gem. Since most are free today, July 4 (which also happens to be a Monday, the surest day that Urameshi-ya has wagyu), we decided to go for it!
Hello, Urameshi-Ya!
Little Tokyo was a ghost town when we arrived as most restaurants open at 5 pm. While waiting, we enjoyed some ice cream from Dojo which I will review separately.
It was just 4:30 pm when Che Che of Urameshi-Ya approached our table asking if we're complete as we could already start if we want to. We were pleased as it means that we could eat earlier as I was famished! (I only had SkyFlakes in preparation for this feast!)
Soon, we were given tongs and griller. (We were given two but the other griller was placed on our table after 10 minutes or so.)

Gastro Park Kapitolyo Find #6: Tokyo Tempura

The craze for food parks has just began as more and more areas are being developed to accommodate start up food concessionaires offering unique and delectable dishes and drinks. Sadly, I haven’t been to most and the only ones I have visited were Pioneer Food Market (where I just walked and exited in a few minutes) and Gastro Park Kapitolyo. One of the stalls I tried a few months ago was this Japanese store that offers unlimited tempura.

Hello, Tokyo Tempura!
Gastro Park was packed when we went one Saturday night. We were lucky though to spot an empty table at Tokyo Tempura. Honestly, this store didn’t attract me when I visited earlier that same day. I guess it was because their tempura was just the usual, except that they also offer unlimited tempura

But since we will sit there, we made sure to buy something from the store. Hungry R availed of the Tempura All You Can (PHP199) while my friends and I decided to share Chili Cheese (PHP49) and Stuffed Chori Burger (PHP180). The burger is from Offbeat Burger but is also owned or managed by Tokyo Tempura.

R’s tempura was served first which he quickly attacked hence it being undocumented. We noticed that the tempura was quite short. Small and thin shrimps were used for the tempura and there was more batter than shrimp. Since it was an unlimited promo, the ones who avail of this have to sit near the store so that the servers could monitor as sharing is not allowed. R, being persistent and all, gave me a few bites of the tempura while nervously checking if the rather huge server saw us.
The Chili Cheese was super spicy that one small nibble made me turn red. It is definitely not for those with low spice tolerance. I didn’t even get a taste of cheese.

Promo Alert: Churros All You Can at Boqueria

I love churros. I remember that it is one of my must have dishes whenever I visit Dulcinea. The rich chocolate and the crunchy churros are just perfect as an afternoon snack (or dessert). I even went gaga when they had a kiosk at the ground floor of SM Megamall where they focused on eclairs, cream puffs and churros. However, Boqueria, a new player in the market, captured the churros loving crowd with its decadent hot chocolate and churros and now, they are offering something foodies would absolutely love...

Unlimited churros? Why not?
Yes, you read it right! Boqueria is offering CHURROS ALL YOU CAN!
But of course, there's a catch. It is only available from Monday to Friday, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.. So if you work near SM Megamall and you have a flexible lunch break, then lucky you! Promo runs until September 15, 2014. So schedule it now!
I do hope that they consider having this as a weekend promo. (And an option to have plain churros. Sugar coated churros dipped in their rich chocolate is just too much for me.)

Boqueria is located at 3rd Floor, SM Megamall Fashion Hall, Mandaluyong City.

Promo Alert: SumoSam Unli Tempura and Sushi

I think it's pretty obvious that I have this strong passion for Japanese food. One thing that could make me go out on a super lazy day is... salmon sashimi. But I wasn't fond of it at first. The first time I tried eating salmon sashimi was when I was in my last year of college. (Late foodie bloomer?) But give me unlimited Japanese food, even if it's not salmon sashimi, I will be there in a second (or an hour if it's traffic).
Presenting... SumoSam's  Unli Tempura and Sushi for only PHP499!
Yes, you read it right, unlimited... until further notice!
But wait, it gets even better as the ramen, salad and dessert are all part of the unlimited offering. Plus, just add PHP300 and you get unlimited wagyu beef as well!

So, what's the catch? It's only available at SumoSam's Somerset Olympia branch (across Ayala Triangle). Not really a big deal right?

Promo Alert: Lugang Café's Feast All You Can

Dieting is impossible if you are surrounded by foodies. We talk about food in the morning, in the afternoon, in the evening, and yes, even during lunch break.

*ding*

Okay, there really wasn't a sound but when A sends an email, it has to be about one of the following-- (1) picture of the day, (2) weird things I do not wish to explain further, or (3) eat-all-you-can. And because I always hope that the emails are about the last one, I read the emails ASAP.

And true enough the last one was about Lugang Café's Feast All You Can

Unlimited. Eat-all-you-can. Overflowing. Those words never fail to make me smile!

Gluttons rejoice as C2 Classic Cuisine has a promo that is simply hard to resist. Just combine a sinful yet oh-so-good dish plus the word UNLIMITED… *happiness*
