We can't deny that Korean culture and cuisine have seamlessly assimilated with ours these past years. With more and more of us loving Korean shows, music and food, it's not surprising to see pockets of Korea Town in almost every city. And just when we thought we've had too much of Korean BBQ, the newest joint in town serves wagyu!
Hello, Wagyupsal.

Prost! Celebrating Oktoberfest at Brotzeit
Wake me up when September ends... not! With Oktoberfest happening as early as mid September, several European restaurants are joining the celebration and have some interesting menu and events lined up! And when it comes to real German vibes, I could only think of one place... Brotzeit!
Hello, Brotzeit.
I've been to Brotzeit during the month-long festivities back in 2014 and all I could remember were people laughing and pint after pint of beer! Everything else was blurry and I blame the beer for it. Fast forward to this year's Oktoberfest, I made sure to take note of everything and not go crazy with Brotzeit's great selection of beer.

Soban Launches its Meatiest Set Ever!
The insane number of Korean BBQ places is enough proof to prove that we are not just hooked with KDrama or those catchy K-Pop songs. Most of us are also in love with its mouthwatering dishes, especially Korean BBQ. Though several restaurants offer tempting promotions, only a few stood out in terms of taste. And one of my favorites is Soban K-Town Grill.
Hello, Soban K-Town Grill.
Soban is one of the few restaurants I fell in love with at first bite. Its delightful Korean BBQ meats were well-curated and each one was fresh, tender and flavorful. Aside from that, Soban also offers great kimchi fries and Dak Ganjeong (Korean Fried Chicken) among others.

Starting 2018 Right with The KTG
2017 has been a year filled with discovering new food and meeting new friends. And there's no better way to welcome the new year than with some of the fantastic people I've met and love. I was not expecting to throw away my plan to eat in moderation in less than a week but I'm not regretting it a single bit especially if it means feasting with The Kain Tulog Gang at F1 Hotel.
Held at the Infinity Ballroom, I was welcomed by several familiar smiling faces and scrumptious spread from La Petite Fromagerie, The Plaza Ham, Swizzle Mobile Bar, and of course, our gracious host, F1 Hotel.

Night Cap: Makati Diamond Residences' Champagne and Tapas Buffet
I am a big fan of bubbly and I could drink it all night if paired with some good tapas. And a homey hotel in Makati seems to be my new favorite with its remarkably great spread perfect for a relaxing night after moving around the city to find the perfect gifts this coming Christmas.

First Bite: Draft Gastropub Manila
I always frequent Rockwell
for food and I discovered another favorite few weeks back. It was quite
unexpected. I was thinking of just relaxing at home that night as we just came
from Coron. But R’s friends all wanted to have dinner at Draft and since we
were hungry too, we decided to join them.
Hello, Draft Gastropub
Manila!
I recall that I visited the Draft BGC
branch a few years back with some colleagues but since we came from an event,
we were stuffed and just had light snacks and a few drinks. This time, R and I
ordered the Beef Pot Roast
(PHP480) for sharing, Paulaner
Dunkel (PHP200, 330ml) and Stella
Artois (PHP150, 330ml).
I’m not really a beer
person but the Paulaner Dunkel was pretty good! It didn’t have that bitter beer
taste unlike the one I ordered at Brotzeit.
It had a mildly sweet after taste and I like it.
