Hello, Nord's Bread Hub.
This bread shop has been around for quite some time in SM North Edsa. I've always been curious with its offerings and how it compares with other establishments like Bread Talk and Kumori. However, I'm always full whenever I pass by and don't find motivation to buy a bread or two just to try it out. One afternoon though, I was looking for a place to grab a quick drink and figured to check out Nord's Bread Hub's Iced Green Tea Latte (PHP165).
Since the place wasn't that busy, service was quick and I got my drink in less than 10 minutes. I requested for my drink to go thinking I'd be leaving soon as I was supposed to meet my friends in a couple of minutes. But some were running late so I ended up drinking my order at Nord's open dining area.
Though the drink is thirst quenching, it didn't have that pronounced green tea flavor. Each sip had a strong taste of milk. I understand that I ordered latte but the portions were a bit unbalanced. And for PHP165, I could have gotten my green tea fix elsewhere.
But I'll still give Nord's Bread Hub another try and sample its baked goods and savory line.
