Night Life: Unlimited Tacos with Unlimited Sangria or Margarita at Encima

Restaurants that offer Do-It-Yourself dishes are brilliant. Guests find it attractive, interactive and never blame the restaurant if it tasted bad as they made it themselves. But there are some places where no matter how bad you messed up, your creation will still be delicious! And such is the case with Encima's DIY Taco Bar. 

Hello again, Encima Roofdeck Restaurant.

To celebrate the Encima's anniversary, they threw a simple and intimate thanksgiving party which also served as the launch of their DIY Taco Bar, Unlimited Margarita or Sangria promo for just PHP499.

I was famished when I got to Encima. I went crazy with my own take of hefty taco after taking a quick snapshots of the simple yet ample taco bar. I also requested for my first glass of sangria while creating my yummy mess.

There are different meats to choose from. I went with the classic ground beef for protein and chose soft tortilla instead of the hard shell one as I found stuffing the hard shell challenging given that I have to hold my plate at the same time. (I requested for a taco stand but Encima doesn't have one. But you could ask one of the servers to make your taco for you.) 

I added some shredded lettuce, tomatoes, onions and lots of cheddar cheese. I also topped it with cheese sauce for good measure. I didn't take a photo of it though as I literally just dumped everything! (Don't judge. I was hungry.)

I was surprised that my glass of Sangria comes in a small goblet. It wasn't exactly the right glass for sangria but I guess it will do. Eventually they ran out of glasses and started serving it in short glasses. Though it somehow ruined the sangria experience, I didn't really mind that much.

It had the right level of sweetness and kick. With three to four glasses of this, I was set.

I didn't try the margarita anymore as I prefer frozen strawberry margarita which is not part of the offering.
