Sundays Made Better: Mercato at Heat

Don't you feel that the day is not enough to do all the things you want? Sunday seems to be the only day with an acceptable traffic that would make us more productive. But we also want to spend this day with the good ol family which again makes time a bit more scarce for everything else. Edsa Shangri-La got our backs though and thought of something brilliant.

Hello again, Heat!
It was my first time to visit Heat for lunch so I didn't know what to expect. Though I already know that Heat offers a bountiful and impressive spread from breakfast to dinner, I was not prepared to be awed further.
Unlike its dinner spread, there seem to be a lot more options for lunch.
I love that there are several light meals to choose from such as sandwiches, buns and even tacos!
I heard that the tacos were amazing, especially the guacamole
I was too full though from going crazy with salmon sashimi that I had to skip this.
Just look at these seafood beauties!
Of course, a Heat meal won't be complete without some steak
I also had some fish and chips which were crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside! There are also several dips to choose from but I went with the classic tartar sauce.
I felt lame for being full after a few dishes. So I hurriedly grabbed some of my favorite local desserts before my tummy waves the white flag.
I was so giddy when I spotted my favorites sorbetes, karioka, banana q and taho in the dessert section.
Sadly, I missed out on making my own tart where I get to choose my own filling. But that just motivates me to visit Heat soon.
If you plan to visit Heat for lunch on a Sunday, do not miss having your caricature made or catch that roaming magician do a trick or two for your kids (or for you, I'm not judging).
And if shopping is your thing, you don't even have to leave Edsa Shangri-la to get your favorite food finds or fashion items! Heat partnered with Mercato to bring #HeatMercato where curated brands will be in the favorite hotel lobby featuring its bestselling items. I spotted some salted egg chips and beautiful leather products that you might fancy too.
I can't wait to head back to Heat for more and I hope to see you there!

Thank you, Edsa Shangri-La and The Pickiest Eater for the invite.

Heat is located at Ground Floor, Edsa Shangri-La Hotel, Mandaluyong City.
