Paradise Dynasty is now in BGC

Paradise Dynasty is one of my happy places here in Manila. Stuffing myself with its mouthwatering xiao long bao never fails to put a big smile on my face. And don't even get me started with its to die for lettuce roll and glutinous dishes! The only thing that keeps me away from this foodie haven is traffic. But not for long.

Hello, Paradise Dynasty.
I was beyond thrilled when I saw Paradise Dynasty's board up in SM Aura. Finally, a branch closer to home.
Unlike the other Paradise Dynasty stores, this branch has a different look. With touches of blues and reds, it has a younger vibe unlike the predominantly brown and warm ambiance of its S Maison and Podium branches.
Just like all our other meals at Paradise Dynasty, we started off with a few baskets of Pork Xiao Long Bao (PHP298, 10 pieces) which as expected was packed with flavorful meat and clean tasting broth.
We were in for a treat when we got to try Chili Crab Xiao Long Bao (PHP540, 6 pieces). This SM Aura exclusive dish is worth getting stuck in traffic for.
Though pricier than the rest of Paradise Dynasty's xiao long bao offerings, a bite of it would make you realize that you're getting your money's worth. Stuffed with crab meat and spicy laksa broth, it's a sure hit for those who are looking for something new.
Another spicy dish worth checking out is Pork Dumpling in Hot Chili Vinaigrette (PHP168, 6 pieces).
If you're after a snappy dish to feast on, go for Stir-fried French Beans with Minced Pork (PHP238). Don't get intimidated by the chili bits. This dish isn't spicy at all, unless you eat yours with the chili.
This sweet and savory Stir-fried Shredded Pork in Black Bean Sauce served with Chinese Crepes (PHP368) is also a crowd pleaser. A fellow guest shared that this is his kids' favorite that he has to order two or three orders every time.
I was a bit intimidated by Spicy Szechuan Crispy Chicken (PHP298) with all the chopped chili on top. I was pleasantly surprised though that the spiciness of chili didn't seep through the perfectly fried chicken.
My favorite, aside from xiao long bao, is Crispy Fried Crystal Prawns Tossed with Salted Egg Yolk (PHP588). Fresh prawns lightly battered and covered in thick salted egg yolk, each bite is LOVE.
Its grainy texture is addicting and goes well with Egg Fried Rice (PHP238).
But if you're not fond of rice, try La Mian with Scallion (PHP200).
Given all the bold flavors, it's best to grab a plate or two of Radish Pastry (PHP138, 3 pieces). This beautiful intricate pastry has light and delicate taste making it a perfect break from all the strong flavors.
For dessert, we had a few baskets of Charcoal Custard Lava Bun (PHP188, 3 pieces). Though placed under appetizer, this dish also serve as great meal ender with its slightly sweet taste.
I can't wait to have more!
P.S. Note that Paradise Dynasty is closed after lunch service and resumes at 6 p.m..

Paradise Dynasty is located at 2nd floor, SM Aura Premier, McKinley Parkway, Fort Bonifacio, Taguig City.
