Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf Celebrates 15 Years in the Philippines

2018 is a special year for Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf as it marks yet another milestone for its Philippine franchise. This year marks the well-loved coffee shop's 15th year in the country. And there's no better way to celebrate this momentous moment than with coffee and tea.

Happy Anniversary, Coffee Bean & Tea.
The event started with some interactive activities such as visiting some booths where we learn more about Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf (CBTL) and some where we had to do a flatlay using CBTL products. I have to admit, the crossword puzzle was a tough one if solved without the materials available for us that day.
The event's highlights are the coffee preparation and tea cupping demos where we discovered our favorites and established or reestablished our preferences.
I usually avoid dark coffee thinking that it would be the most acidic but it turned out to have this lovely deep and earthy flavor that made me rethink what coffee to order.
For tea, I'm still a strong chai lover. I just can't get over the lovely spice it gives.
In fact, I got Chai Latte during the event.
The last event was giving us a free hand to create our own Original Ice Blended.
We went with a coffee based drink with chocolate for body with espresso jelly  and hazelnut chocolate swirl and topped with whipped cream and caramel drizzle. And it turned out to be a divine dark mocha drink.
Overall, it was a fun event. I left with a newfound respect for Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, a brand that goes beyond. It gives back to society with its Caring Cup programs enriching not just our day but livelihood of certain societies and communities.

And here's a treat for all CBTL fans--Mondays Made Better promo is back and will last until June 30, 2018. Enjoy your favorite drinks or try new flavors every Monday for only PHP100!

So, see you at CBTL?
