Love At First Bite: The Tuileries Confections

Macarons. This has been one of the biggest food craze last year and it seems like it's here to stay for a bit longer. I must say, I am one of the crazy foodies to shell out money for these small (but yummy) desserts. If you think about it, these are very expensive. But if you crave for something beyond your typical chocolate bar or ice cream, this is a good choice.
I have been a big fan of S's baking and when she flew to Paris to further enhance her skills, I just want her to finish her studies ASAP just so I could have more of her delectable brownies. But I guess I have to wait.
She didn't disappoint us though as a few weeks after she came back, she started her business The Tuileries Confections.

It was her post for Valentine's Day that convinced me to to order a box of macarons.

After a few days, I finally got my order and I was so excited to try it! It was featured in Market Manila so it must be crazy good!
I opened the container as soon as I got home and took a few pictures then started munching on it.

My order was a combination of triple vanilla white chocolate ganache and bittersweet chocolate ganache.
The triple vanilla white chocolate ganache reminded me of very rich milk. It was sweet and delightful to the taste buds. As a person who is not fond of white chocolate, I really enjoyed this one.
But my favorite is the bittersweet chocolate ganache. It's not really that bitter so kids would love this. My sister loved it too!

Pink and heart-shaped. I loved the idea and this was the perfect gift for Valentine's. I bought one for myself and I got another one from J. Foodies think alike! :)

Go get yours now. You won't regret it!
