Birdhouse Launches New Exciting Chicken Wings Flavors

I usually don't get excited to eat chicken wings. I find it messy to eat and too scrawny to be enjoyed. But all those changed when I had a bite of something different.

Hello again, Birdhouse

In celebration of its first year anniversary, Birdhouse launched new dishes this month that are bound to satisfy anyone craving for chicken-- Chicken Wings. And it comes in six exciting flavors.
I have to admit, I wasn't very happy with my first Birdhouse experience. The chicken was so salty that made me gasp for water. But the new dishes look very promising that I drooled as I take photos of the beautifully coated wings.
I arrived at Birdhouse quite early so I was able to avoid the crowd and got my order of assorted wings in less than 10 minutes.
I first sampled the Roasted Garlic Parmesan and it tasted just like the ones you get from Korean chicken restaurants. But what I liked about Birdhouse's is that it is flavorful all throughout. I enjoyed the blend of sweet and salty flavors. Though I could be biased as I love garlic.
Pepper Cream reminded me of steak sauce. Just like its name, it was creamy and peppery at the same time. Though this was a crowd favorite, I didn't like this as much as I like the sauce more on beef than chicken.
Smokehouse BBQ is one of the safe flavors to choose from. The familiar taste had a bit of spice that would go well with dirty rice or potatoes.
I only had a bit of K-Bomb as its bright orange hue looked very intimidating. As a person with very low spice tolerance, I was scared for my taste buds. But I was surprised that it wasn't that spicy. It also had a bit of tangy taste that made me think of kimchi
If you're a fun loving person who enjoys munching on unique dishes, then you'd definitely like Cheese & Caramel Popcorn. Each bite was sweet and salty which made me want more. If you love Chicago Popcorn's delectable cheese and caramel popcorn mix, then you have to get this! It also has actual popcorn on top of the wings!

My favorite though is Bacon Mac & Cheese.

I was surprised that it did taste just like its name minus the macaroni. The combination of salty bacon and cheesy flavors were so addicting that I wished I replaced K-Bomb with one more of this. And if you love bacon and cheese, you'd go crazy with this one. But if you're not too keen with salty dishes, it's best to pair this with one of Birdhouse's sides.
Overall, it was a pleasant experience and the wings convinced me to visit Birdhouse again. I'll surely get more of Bacon Mac & Cheese!
