Craft Beer Haven: Resorts World Manila's October Fiesta

I usually avoid going out on a Friday given the insane traffic we have in Manila. But I simply couldn't say no to Resorts World Manila's October Fiesta. 

Hello, Resorts World Manila. 

We often see memes saying "wake me up when September ends" because October sure is one of the best months! We are just in the second week and there are already so many festive events to take part of. One of which was when Resorts World Manila started the October Fest celebration with its fun October Fiesta. 

R and I came from Bulacan that day and took us at least 4 hours to get to Newport Mall. We were thinking that there might be only a few guests around given the unbelievable traffic but we were greeted by a massive crowd.

With 30 local brewers from the Philippine Craft Beer community, everyone was excited to take a sip of its bestsellers. Crows Brewery, Engkanto, Philippine Craft Kings, Bruddah Brewing and Calle Brewery were just some of the many participants who made every guest's Friday extra memorable. 

I particularly liked Bruddah's coffee-like beer. And of course, Engkanto's pale ale!

There were two tickets available to get in: PHP400 which includes 2 beer samples and PHP1,000 which includes three beer samples and 5 bar chows. We got the latter.

The line for the bar chow was long but manageable. I loved the lobster ball best paired with dark sweet sauce.

Other snacks were chicken skin, fried isaw, ham and pandesal, sisig wrap and Frank's sausage. 

Live music was playing the whole time which gave the place a more chill ambiance. 

Sadly, this event only lasted for two days, October 4-5. But wipe the frown from your face as Resorts World Manila has other events lined up this October! Follow them on social media to keep updated.
