The place was quite empty when we arrived as it was already
around 9 p.m. that time but we noticed that a handful of customers come in
every 15 minutes. Not bad given it was pretty late already.
It’s a given that one of the things I HAVE to order is Salmon Sashimi (PHP295) so I did along
with a bowl of Shoyu Ramen (PHP235), an order of Coffee Jelly (PHP85) and a glass of Kokoro Iced Tea (PHP50). This is the definition of light dinner.

Service was quick as my plate of salmon sashimi arrived
within 5 minutes. The cuts were big so it was definitely worth my money. Also,
the salmon was fresh and the type that melts in your mouth. *happiness*
The Shoyu Ramen (soy-based noodle soup made from light pork
broth) sure hit the spot! The warm ramen was indeed filling. Serving was quite
big and good for two but meat lovers like me will find the pork slices a bit
short. The noodles were pretty good as it had this slightly chewy texture. The vegetables included made each bite more enjoyable!
My dessert was pretty good too. The coffee jelly was
undeniably coffee as it was slightly bitter which was a great contrast from the
sweet vanilla ice cream.
They have their own blended iced tea! |
Just a few steps away from Shiro-Shiro (where I had crocodile meat), I will definitely visit this
place again!
Kokoro
