I've been curious about Bar Pintxos ever since it opened its first store down south. Frequented by discerning locals, I couldn't help think that this place must be really good. I was thrilled when it opened branches in BGC and Makati as it made it more accessible to me. And after a few failed attempts, I finally got to visit its BGC branch a few weeks ago.

Barcino has been one of our favorite restaurants when dining with business partners. With its scrumptious food offerings and warm ambiance, our guests are sure to have a good lunch. And it being just a few blocks away from our office makes it the perfect option.

Wobbly Pan is one of the relatively new restaurants at Shangri-La Plaza. Located at the ground floor near the old Dome and Mercury Drug, it would be quite hard to miss this place.

With most tapas and wine bars selling their wine and anti pasti at several hundreds per serving, going out for one could definitely hurt the holiday budget. The quaint wine shop located at the two storey restaurant complex along Mother Ignacia and Scout Lozano offers affordable sangrias and tapas perfect for those who want an all-nighter. 

We got a carafe of Sangria (PHP290), Jamon Serrano (PHP250), Hungarian Sausage (PHP180) and Dulong (PHP180) paired with crackers. 

Night Cap: Makati Diamond Residences' Champagne and Tapas Buffet

I am a big fan of bubbly and I could drink it all night if paired with some good tapas. And a homey hotel in Makati seems to be my new favorite with its remarkably great spread perfect for a relaxing night after moving around the city to find the perfect gifts this coming Christmas.
