I love bread! I'd usually grab a piece or two and smother it with my favorite jam for breakfast. And when I have extra time, I add some cold cuts, fresh greens, and a slice or two of cheese for a yummier sandwich. But why bother when you can have your savory baked treats by just ordering from Bread & Breakfast?
Hello, Bread & Breakfast.
Bread & Breakfast is a new player in the growing community of home bakers. Unlike most that specialize in sweet treats, this newcomer focuses on puff pastries, rolls, and croissants.

First Sip: % Arabica
Coffee lovers rejoice! Japan's famous coffee shop, % Arabica is finally in Manila and it is on its soft opening in W City Center, Bonifacio Global City.
Hello, % Arabica.
I've seen a few % Arabica posts from some friends a few months back. Unfamiliar with the brand, my appreciation for it was limited to its minimalist interiors and simple logo which I love. And so, when the buzz came out that % Arabica will be opening in Manila, I couldn't really understand why everyone's semi-palpitating with excitement.

When in Cebu: La Vie Parisienne
Cebu is slowly turning into a foodie paradise with new restaurants opening here and there. One of the restaurants that captured my interest is La Vie Parisienne. It is not particularly new but it has a romantic ambiance and I figured that it’s a great place to spend a night with R for his post birthday celebration.
Hello, La Vie Parisienne!
I am aware that this place is more of a bakery than a restaurant but I didn’t know that they have quite a limited selection in terms of heavier, dinner appropriate dishes.

First Bite: Jipan's Salted Egg Croissant
I love anything with salted egg. I went crazy with the salted egg prawns of Din Tai Fung and I fell in love with Stella’s salted egg chips. I also hoard those colored eggs whenever I see it in Greenhills. And when I heard that Jipan sells salted egg croissants, I just have to visit it ASAP.
Hello, Jipan!
I used to frequent its SM Megamall branch when I was younger and go crazy with its chocolate croissants. But this time around, I went with Salted Egg Croissant (PHP125). I also had a bag of Matcha Croissants (PHP180, 10 pieces) to go.

CRONUT MANIA: Dunkin Donuts
Manila is now officially cronut crazy. You see it everywhere! Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and even on the news. It all started with Wildflour Cafe then other players joined the bandwagon. And finally Dunkin' Donuts decided to join the fun.
I've always wanted to try a cronut but it's so hard to get hold of one since it's always sold out. They say that it takes time to make a batch and that's the reason behind the very limited quantity. It doesn't even last 30 minutes for some stores. *sigh* But thanks to Instagram, I discovered something... Dunkin' Donuts now sell cronuts!

Gone French in Hollywood: The French Crepe Co.
It was one sunny but chilly day in Hollywood when we decided to do a bit of museum hopping. We arrived a bit past 12NN and we were hungry. Unwilling to eat at McDonalds, we searched for a better option.
I wanted to eat at this bistro place but my mom and sister wanted to eat something else which was not on the bistro’s menu. But since we were extremely hungry, we decided to eat at a promising place named The French Crepe Co. (which was just across the bistro).
Fine, since I was not the one going to pay anyway.
