The Newest Pizza Joint in Town: Corner Pizza by Kenny Rogers Roasters

Ever wonder why round pizzas are placed inside square boxes? I Googled it, and it says that a square box helps secure the pizza and its toppings. It may be true, but I always find the space in the corners to be a waste. That is until I discovered Corner Pizza by Kenny Rogers Roasters.

Hello, Corner Pizza.

Food Delivery Favorite: Pizza X

I love brands that make their customers feel like master chefs! As a novice in the kitchen, I was so happy when several establishments came up with easy do-it-yourself dishes. I've tried a handful, and everything turned out great! And with my insatiable appetite for pizza, I was thrilled when I received a sampler pizza pack from Pizza X.

Hello, Pizza X.
Pizza X is one of the newest food concepts in town. It offers frozen thin-crust pizzas in solo sizes.

ECQ Favorite: Pizza Hut's Stay@Home Group Deals

There has been an ongoing debate on whether pineapples deserve to be on pizzas or not. Purists would go crazy and refuse the idea while the more casual foodies wouldn't mind. I'm part of the latter. And to be honest, I love Pizza Hut's Hawaiian Pizza. So it was just natural for me to be thrilled when I heard the news that Pizza Hut launched Stay@Home Group Deals, a new promo that includes my favorite pizza!

Hello, Pizza Hut
Pizza Hut has been one of my favorite pizza brands since I was young. My mom would often bring a box or two home. I also still remember those college days when I'd swing by its kiosk at SM Megamall and grab two slices for an afternoon snack. And the habit stuck with me till now.

Yellow Cab Launches XL Pizza Slices

Pizza has been one of the easiest meals to grab when in a rush. However, most solo diners find it too much to order a whole pizza just to satisfy their hankering for this savory oven baked pie. Thankfully, Yellow Cab came up with something to solve that problem.

Hello, Yellow Cab XL Pizza Slices!
Your favorite New York flavors are now available by the slice! And to make things yummier, it comes in huge slices!

Revisiting Classics: Shakey's

Shakey's used to be my default lunch back in college. I simply cannot resist its bang for the buck Bunch of Lunch set and the famous mojos and dip! And its partnership deal with BPI enticed me to splurge a little.

Hello, Shakey's.
BPI had a yummy deal a few months ago where credit card users get a Shakey's voucher for every PHP3,000 transaction. And after a few swipes here and there, I earned enough vouchers for a meal good for four.

A New Favorite at Greenwich

It's so hard to keep up with the number of new restaurants opening here and there. I find myself confused whenever I eat out as I get bombarded with ads and all sorts of hypes and gimmicks. And when I'm not in the mood to do a bit of research to know if the new restaurant that opened around the corner is worth my money, I stick with the classics. And one afternoon, I found myself craving for Greenwich Lasagna.

Hello, Greenwich.
It has been several months since I've visited Greenwich. It has been my go to place for simple, no frills lasagna and it never fails to delight my taste buds.

First Bite: Teddy’s

Once upon a time, a genius discovered another way to enjoy beef. He turned it into beef balls and flattened it. Then he placed it in between two pieces of bread and added a few vegetables for crunch and that creation is one of the reasons why most of my posts have #dietsomeothertime and #fatkidoutside. *sigh*

Hello, Teddy’s Bigger Burgers!
I recall that the first time I saw this joint was almost a year ago. The line was crazy and it discouraged me to try it out. I was not willing to wait for over an hour under the summer heat. But thankfully, they opened a branch in Shangri-la a few months ago and I got my chance to try their famous burgers.
I went with Teddy’s bestseller, Kailua burger (PHP347, big) while my mom got the Hawaiian Style (PHP287) and my sister ordered the Bacon Me Crazy (PHP268, ¼ lb.). We also ordered shoestring fries (PHP88) as a side dish.
While waiting, my mom got a complimentary dessert in celebration of Mother’s Day.
