The Newest Pizza Joint in Town: Corner Pizza by Kenny Rogers Roasters

Ever wonder why round pizzas are placed inside square boxes? I Googled it, and it says that a square box helps secure the pizza and its toppings. It may be true, but I always find the space in the corners to be a waste. That is until I discovered Corner Pizza by Kenny Rogers Roasters.

Hello, Corner Pizza.

First Bite: Ça Va Crêperie & Floral Atelier

A quaint café caught my attention while strolling around Podium. Adorned with flowers and everything dainty, I convinced my friends that we check it out after our heavy afternoon snack.

Hello, Ça Va Crêperie & Floral Atelier.
It would be hard to miss Ça Va (pronounced sah-vah, French for "how are you doing?") with its prime spot at the Julia Vargas entrance of Podium Mall. Its warm ambiance and feminine vibe was like a strong magnet that lured us into its store.

Foodie Alert: Yellow Cab celebrates World Pizza Week

Remember when Yellow Cab had the brilliant idea of holding an Unli Pizza promo? Well, It's back and it is going to make World Pizza Day even better.

Hello, Yellow Cab.
Yellow Cab began to share with Filipinos a slice of New York back in 2001 with its first branch in Makati Avenue and it has continued to expand nationwide with over 100 branches to date. Such number proves how much Filipinos love its pizza (with perhaps a side of Charlie Chan).

The New Flatiron

Flatiron is no new name to me as I've visited the home of the famous 6-hour brisket a few times already. But it seems that I haven't dropped by for a long time as I didn't even notice the change in Flatiron's look. More than its interiors and new logo though, it also revamped its menu and added new mouthwatering dishes.

Hello, Flatiron.
I was greeted by a place with familiar look but different hues and a more vibrant vibe. As I moved closer to the private dining area, I spotted M who, as always, greet me with much warmth.

First Bite: Tittos Latin BBQ & Brew

I’ve been hearing a lot of great reviews about this South American joint in Kapitolyo. I got so curious that I always drag people and convince them to try it out with me. But my first two attempts were not successful. The first one was because of parking and the second one was because we were too full from our first stop. But third time’s the charm.

Hello, Tittos Latin BBQ & Brew! (Finally.)
The spacious restaurant is one of the few that offers a handful of parking spaces in Kapitolyo. But on a good day, the place gets really packed and you’d be lucky if you could score one of the “double parking” spots. Inside, you’d be welcomed by vibrant colors and very South American murals.
