Pregnancy has turned me into a crinkle monster. My appetite for this baked treat seems to be insatiable. I always find myself drooling at the idea of having more. Thankfully, one of my favorite brands, Overdoughs, added it in its list of delectable offerings!
Hello, Overdoughs Crinkles.
Overdoughs is one of my top cookie brands. Aside from selling amazing cookies, its passion toward the deaf-mute community made this food group one of the best in my book. And I was thrilled when I found out that they're now offering crinkles!

Instagram Wonderland: Teaspoon Café
One of our Pampanga Food Crawl stops was this adorable café that seemed to have been designed as an Instagrammers’ paradise. Every nook and cranny are screaming cute and with lifestyle bloggers with us during the food crawl, they sure went crazy with the place.
Hello, Teaspoon Café.
“I wish I dressed nicer” was the first thought that came to mind when I entered this charming place. One could score the perfect profile picture here. But aside from its picturesque space, Teaspoon Café offers savory dishes, decadent desserts and nostalgic milkshakes.

Sweet Ending: Florabel
I love people who love sweets. Ice
cream, chocolates,
cake,
cookies, brownies, and more ice
cream!!! I love chocolates so much that I once tried the “chocolate diet.”
Well, I don’t think it exists but I tried to eat nothing but chocolates for a
few days. (Yes, it was a bad idea but I had no regrets.) And a few weeks ago, I
met a group who share the same love for sweets. <3
Hello, Florabel.
I recall
that the only time I went inside Florabel was for a meeting with the people
handling Magnum. And since the meeting was held after lunch, I just had a glass
of… water. (And Magnum of course!)
This time
though, we had some sweet meal enders. And we ordered quite a lot! S1, S2, S3
and D were the ones who chose the desserts and they picked Frozen Brazo de Mercedes (PHP225), Chocolate Mud Pie (PHP320), Crème
Brûlée Torte with Fruits in Season (PHP245), Moist Yema Chocolate Cake (PHP275), Valrhona Chocolate Tartlet with Mango Chutney (PHP335), and Chocnut Torte (PHP245).
The Frozen Brazo
de Mercedes tasted a bit too egg-y. (Sorry, I couldn’t think of a better
term for this.) Perhaps I also compare it with the one I had from Spätzle.
I liked the custard though and the contrast of the frozen
meringue with the crunchy graham crust.
The Crème
Brûlée Torte was so-so for me. It was probably my least favorite that night.
It had a slight burnt taste but the fruits were fresh.

Restaurant Love: Borough
It has been quite a
while since I last saw R. I always organize the reunions of BOP 2008, a
competition I attended way back in college, but for some reason, the reunions
can hardly be called successful. *hurt* But since R and I already blocked our Saturday
that week, we decided to push through. Date. <3
Since our minds and tummies were set on having dinner at Borough, we went on with the plan. R was very excited with the Milk and Cookies and I really miss it too.
The place was half full when we arrived and we got the table near the stairs. We ordered Baked Mac N Cheese (PHP320) to share while R ordered the Adobo Sandwich and I got the Salmon and Brown Rice (PHP490). We also ordered Serendipity 3 (PHP200/glass), an alcoholic version of the popular Frozen Hot Chocolate of Serendipity Café in New York.

Serendipity 3 arrived first
and I really tried to resist as I have nothing in my tummy the whole day. (Yes,
it is quite hard to believe but it did happen and I will NEVER let it happen
ever again!)
Anyway, I gave in and had a sip. I was surprised that the chocolate syrup and chocnut taste was very faint. I guess Absolut Vodka’s taste is something difficult to hide.

Next served was the Baked
Mac N Cheese and it was as yummy as ever. I loved the rich cheesy flavor.
Served fresh from the oven made all the difference too as every forkful means a
battle with the stretchy cheese. Slightly annoying but a very wonderful sight.
Our dishes arrived next.
