ECQ Favorite: Flourist's Chocolate Crinkles

Don't you just hate it when you have this intense craving for something but you're stuck at home? I know that there are countless online shops and apps to help us out but smaller businesses prefer to do it through online bank transfer which I never bothered to activate before. And when I had this crazy desire for chocolate crinkles, I reached out to several brands asking if they'd accept Grab Pabili. But most prefer advanced payment. Until one sensed my desperation and said yes to my request. And that was the start of my love for Flourist.

I could never say no to cookies. I drool every time I get a whiff of freshly baked goodies and I hardly hesitate to click the like button whenever I see it in my feed. Lately, I'm in the hunt for cookies I could proudly give away for Christmas and I noticed a high school batch mate of mine offering her "rejects" for free. By rejects, I do not mean bad batch but more of it just came out the wrong size or cracked. Her strict quality control impressed me and piqued my interest. And a few days ago, I finally decided to comment on her post asking for the price list.

Though I love munching on the tried and tested desserts, I find so much joy too whenever I come across awesome home bakers who can whip up amazing products. And last month, I discovered Blissful Sweets by Eu.

I got an unexpected email from Eu a couple weeks back asking if I’m open to try her baked treats. And as a sucker for sweets, I said yes without even knowing what she’ll give me. 

Eu personally delivered the goodies to my apartment but I was too busy packing for my trip the next day and doing last minute errands that I was not able to meet her.
