For
some reason, “eat-all-you-can” lures me like a bug to light. It never fails to
make me drool like some hungry toddler. I went crazy when I saw the ad for
Lugang’s feast-all-you-can as I failed to try it last year with my former
colleagues due to conflict of schedules.
My food loving friends and I agreed to meet at Lugang Café around 7 p.m. at the SM Megamall branch and that the first
person to arrive reserve a table for us. A was the early bird that day and she
made sure that I remember it for weeks with her nonstop messages and calls. (I
still love you though.)
I arrived soon after and I was surprised that there were only very few people. I guess Monday's not really a popular day to feast.

L
arrived a few minutes later and we decided to order our first plates.
Steamed Pork Xiao
Long Bao is of course one of our first orders followed by… well, a lot more.
Presenting... our feast.
Soon, we each ordered one dish that falls under "House Specialties".
For PHP588+, I think we got our money's worth. We ate for more than two hours and we went home with full tummies!

Presenting... our feast.
Vietnam Egg Rolls (It was served warm and crunchy and it sure made our grumpy tummies happy.)
Steamed Vegetarian Dumplings with Truffle Oil (I find this one to be too oily and had the umay factor. One or two of this is enough for me.)
The inside of the Vegetarian Dumpling.
Garlic Pork Rolls (I was the only one who enjoyed this. The garlic taste was pretty strong and we were slightly surprised that it was cold pork cuts.)
Taiwanese Omelette with Preserved Turnip Bits
Cucumber with Vinaigrette (The girls were against me ordering this but I just have to so that I get to cleanse my palate.)
Aweto Flower, Mushroom and Jellyfish is as loveable as ever. I love the various textures and the slight tangy taste.
Kung Pao Prawns
Hainanese Boneless Chicken
Sate Beef with Spinach (This one had a hair raising texture! It was too mushy. It felt like someone chewed it for us! Aeeeeeiiiieee!!!)
Honey Barbeque Pork (I don't recall I get to try this one!!! I guess it was too good that I didn't even realize it was gone before my foodie radar get to notice it.)
